Family, food and fourth of july

Fireworks have always been a part of our July 4th celebration, but this year, we decided to just spend time with family… Trading the gun powder and smoke for the fire-work of the barbecue grill. There are few things more “American” than hot dogs, hamburgers, apple pie and family… and we had them all in one place.

My nieces and nephew brought out their swim clothes and smiles and had a blast in mom and dad’s backyard… slipping, sliding and splashing around.

Just as they had worked up an appetite, the burgers were off the grill and ready for grubbing.

As per usual, I had my camera to document our time and rather than leave it on a memory card or my laptop SSD, I decided to slap together a quick video recapping our time of family fellowship.

Hope you had an amazing 4th of July!
