40 years young and ready for what’s next

40 was a number I’ve been afraid of for years. It often represents a turning point in men’s health, career ambitions and quickly approaching the midway point of life. But as I turn 40 today, I realize that the number of years I’ve been on this planet have very little to do with the outcome of my life or the aspirations I want to chase. Sure some things will change as I get on in years, but it’s no longer a burden or a barrier to fear, but a badge of honor to embrace.

On the work front, we have a ton of things lined up… from starting production on a brand new TV show, preparing to direct another short documentary in Japan and a bunch of upcoming projects with some of my favorite clients.

Joanne and I also have some big things we’re planning for this monumental year and I’m sure we’ll be going on at least a trip or two just for fun.

So, ready or not, I’m excited for what 40 has in store for us!
