New YouTube Setup for more consistent videos

One of the biggest issues I’ve faced in creating more regular YouTube content is not having a consistent location or setup.  I recently found a video by Caleb Pike outlining a one-stand solution to have lighting, audio and camera all on a single, movable light stand.

I showed this to Mauna and Christy and we went to work to build our own version of that.

We based it off of an Avenger C-Stand and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Intellytech FL40 light.  It’s a clean and compact setup that can easily be moved around the office to achieve different “looks” while retaining the same lighting and audio format.  I’m really looking forward to making more content with this kit and hope that it expedites our ability to churn through ideas.
